Am I eligible? Currently enrolled Hispanic high school seniors with a minimum GPA of 2.0, a history of civic engagement or community service, concrete plans to attend college in the fall of 2012, and significant demonstrated financial need are encouraged to participate in the NCLR–Best Buy Emerging Latino Leaders Scholarship Program.

What does it cover? One grand prize winner will receive a one-time payment of $15,000.
One winner will receive a one-time payment of $5,000.
Two winners will each receive a one-time payment of $2,500.

 

Scholarship Description: The Best Buy Children’s Foundation and the National Council of La Raza (NCLR) are proud to launch the sixth NCLR–Best Buy Emerging Latino Leaders Scholarship Program, which awards $25,000 in scholarships to graduating Hispanic high school seniors throughout the United States.
