Scholarship Description: The Dr. Mary Buice Alderson Undergraduate Student Teaching Scholarships were established in1996 in the Department of Kinesiology and Health Education in the College of Education at The University of Texas at Austin. These scholarships were established using the earnings from the principal of a gift from Dr. Alderson’s estate. The undergraduate student teaching scholarships are to be used to support the education of a student pursuing teacher certification in Physical Education during the year in which s/he is student teaching.
