Scholarship Description: The Dr. Nancy W. Shumaker Study Abroad Scholarship is available to Georgia Southern University students through private donations made via the G.S.U. Foundation in honor of the long-time director of the Center for International Studies. Strong consideration will be given to those applicants studying abroad in regions or countries typically less served by study abroad programs and to those applicants participating on programs sponsored by the Center for International Studies.
