2) Demonstrate strong academic performance (minimum 3.0 grade point average/4.0 scale or equivalent).
3) Be citizens of the United States of America;
4) be high school seniors attending high school in the United States and graduating in winter 2012 or spring 2013; and plan to enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study toward a bachelor’s degree at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States for the entire 2013-2014 academic year.

Scholarship Description: To ensure that progress in teaching and research in ethics will continue into the future, the Center trains younger scholars who are prepared to dedicate their careers to the study of practical ethics in a wide variety of subjects. The Graduate Fellowships in Ethics were established in 1990 with the support of the American Express Foundation, and subsequent gifts from Mrs. Lily Safra and Mr. Eugene P. Beard
