Scholarship Description: The Richard D. Lombard Public Service Program was established by family and friends in memory of Mr. Lombard, a 1953 Dartmouth graduate and former Trustee of the College.  The Program provides grants to “encourage and enable Dartmouth alumni to use their education to make a significant positive impact on society.”The Lombard Fund supports up to a dozen young alumni each year to undertake six to twelve month volunteer community service projects in the United States and around the world.
