Am I eligible? 1) Student must be program placed in a NOVA associate’s degree program.
2) Student must have completed at least 12 credits toward his/her NOVA degree requirements.
3) Student must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.8 within his/her degree program and be in Good Standing at NOVA with no less than a 2.0 GPA overall.
4) Student must provide one letter of recommendation from a NOVA faculty member (mailed separately to the College Financial Aid office – see instructions below)
5) Student must be eligible for employment within the United States.

What does it cover? Scholarship award amount Up to $1,000.00. The scholarship may be used only for tuition, books and supplies at NOVA as stated in NVCC Educational Foundation Scholarship Policy.

Scholarship Description: The Northern Virginia Community College Educational Foundation and the Student Financial Aid Office are pleased to announce the availability of the scholarship listed below for the 2012-2013 academic year.
