Scholarship Description: NYS Scholarships for Academic Excellence are awarded to outstanding students in the state of New York who are planning to attend full time a four-year college or university in the state of New York. It is available to U.S. citizens.
The scholarship is administered by the New York State Higher Education Services Corporation and is offered through the New York State Education Department. It is a state scholarship with awards based on Regents exams test scores.
