Scholarship Description:This scholarship is funded by former San Diego City College student Thomas Sowles. Mr. Sowles transferred from San Diego City College to San Diego State University and received a bachelor’s degree in 2007. Presently, he works for cultural resource management firms as a field archaeologist in southern California. Recognizing that that the college did not have a scholarship for anthropology majors, and considering the significance of cultural heritage in the diverse local area, it was his vision to create this scholarship for students interested in preserving the past.
Application closing date: The Deadline to Apply for the scholarship is 6 December, 2012
