Scholarship Description: The Schissler Foundation has been a long time supporter and contributor to the GSBS and her students, providing full Fellowships. In 2004, this Foundation established a new Fellowship in addition to the Fellowships in the Genetics of Human Disease. This new Fellowship is to be awarded to any qualified GSBS doctoral student whose advisor and whose research are at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.
