Scholarship Description: Prestigious van Eck Scholarships are available to graduate students (M.S.or Ph.D.) seeking training in Genetics and Forest Conservation. Students will join a research team that will use next-generation genetic approaches to identify genes associated with resistance to Thousand Cankers Disease. The student will work with faculty and train in field genetics, molecular genetics,and bioinformatics.
