Am I eligible? Any osteopathic medical student who has successfully completed his/her first-year of studies, prior to the fall of 2012, and remains in good academic standing at an AOA accredited college of osteopathic medicine is eligible to receive this grant.

 

What does it cover? One student from each college of osteopathic medicine (COM) is eligible to receive a $2,000 grant.

Scholarship Description: The purpose of the Welch Scholars Grant is to provide monetary support to help defer costs during a student’s osteopathic medical education. The recipients are chosen because of their outstanding academic achievement, participation in extracurricular activities, strong commitment toward osteopathic medicine and financial need.
